Mommy didn’t consider this art but I thought it was pretty and Ethan thought it was yummy. When Mommy was on the phone I stole a box of Cheerio’s off the kitchen counter that was opened this morning. I dumped the entire box on the floor and decided to throw it EVERYWHERE. We spent today’s craft time picking up Cheerio’s and throwing them in the trash can. We did put some in a plastic bag so we can use them for a craft.

Mommy taught me the Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme while we did a craft for it.
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Mommy cut out squares and rectangles in lots of different colors and helped me learn the difference between the shapes. We glued them on to a piece of construction paper to make a wall. Then we put humpty dumpy on the wall and gave him some googly eyes and painted on a smile.
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
Mommy let me use scissors today! I held them and mommy taught me how to cut paper to make grass. We glued our grass to the bottom of a sheet of construction paper and then glued Humpty Dumpty to the page on the grass. He fell down! We glued torn up tissue paper on him to make it look like he was broken from the fall. I thought he was sad because he fell so we painted a frown on him.

We had beautiful weather today and Mommy took us to the playground where we live. Ethan was wearing his first pair of big boy shoes and he got to play with me as well! Mommy loves taking us outside to play, she thinks its important. We had so much fun playing on the slides and I said “one more time please” at least 20 times before Mommy said we had to go home. If I say please Mommy usually gives in and I get my own way since I’m being polite without being prompted. We did a Humpty Dumpty craft today but Mommy hasn’t had a chance to take pictures so she’ll post it tomorrow.

Ethan be nimble, Ethan be quick, Ethan tear up the candlestick!
It’s all Mommy’s fault, she left them in my reach!

Today we had a big day, I had to go to the Dr this morning and Mommy said that I have to go in for allergy testing next Tuesday. Mommy bought me a surprise today to take when we go for the testing, I don’t know what it is but I did see Dora on the box!
Today we made a page for my book of favorites. Today we made ice cream! I rarely get to eat it but I get so excited when we pass by the ice cream store down the road and see their sign with the big ice cream cone.
Mommy and I glued some popsicle sticks to some construction paper and I painted the cone while Mommy tore up the tissue paper to make the strawberry ice cream. Mommy put some glue on the paper and I stuck the tissue paper on to make ice cream. Then we sorted through our foam letters and I helped her find the right ones to spell ice cream across the top of the page.

Georgie be nimble, Georgie be quick, Georgie jump over the candle stick
Georgie be nimble, Georgie be quick, Georgie jump over two candle sticks

Mommy and I made two candles out of toilet paper rolls and tissue paper. We recited the Georgie be nimble rhyme and I jumped over the candlesticks! Since I like to sing and Mommy has started teaching me nursery rhymes and we’re making crafts to help me act them out and remember them.
We didn’t get to do crafts today, Wednesday is our busiest day of the week. This morning we went to the gym with Mommy and stayed in their child care for an hour. I spent the whole time running around kissing the boys! Normally when I go I sit and color and do my own thing but today there were so many cute boys there. When Mommy came to pick me up I was leaning across the picnic table taking turns kissing two boys! Tonight Mommy and Daddy are going out on a date and our favorite babysitter is coming over to watch us. Mommy promised me that we would do two crafts tomorrow if I pick up my toys.
Mommy and I have started making a book that is all about me and my favorite things. We made a page about me and my best friend Beth. I love playing with Beth but she lives far away so I don’t get to see her often enough. Mommy is really good friends with her Mommy and they wish we lived closer together so we could spend more time together. Mommy and I went to visit in December and Beth and I had so much fun. We jumped on the bed, played with toys, giggled, squealed and chased each other. We were a couple of little monkeys and made our mommies laugh a lot.
Mommy and I made this page together. I got to make dots, then we stuck on foam letters and butterflies, Mommy helped me glue the pictures on and we made frames around the pictures with glitter glue.
