I made pictures with dots today. Mommy bought me some Do-A-Dot markers, they are bottles with a sponge on the end. I like them because they make noise when I hit them on the paper. Mommy likes them because they are washable and I can’t spill them. I made lots of pictures today and played with them for over an hour. I made lots of dots and had to make sure I told Mommy every time I changed colors. Do-A-Dot Rainbow Art Set

I’m home! I just got back from spending two weeks with Oma and Opa. I had a lot of fun, they spoiled me rotten letting me eat cupcakes and doughnuts. Mommy and Daddy took me to the store with them earlier and they were amazed at all the new words I was saying. We went down the soft drink aisle and I made sure to point out where the cokes were. I also pointed out ice cream and doughnuts. I came back with new clothes, some Dora pj’s, balloons, pink boots with butterflies and a couple more toys. Mommy says I’m spoiled!

I was excited to be home and really wanted to see Boo. I think he was happy to see me. Starting Monday Mommy and I are going to start doing crafts again and I’ve really missed that! Oh best of all when I got home Mommy and Daddy had a surprise for me. They got me new Dora bedding for my big girl bed! Ethan and I are sharing a room for the first night tonight and I think the bedding was a bribe. I don’t care, when I saw it I started screaming “Dora Dora Dora”!!!!

I’m silly and I do very strange things that make Mommy and Daddy look at me and wonder what I’m thinking. I have to test things with my head. I bang my head on doors, toys, stuffed animals and furniture just because I think its funny. Here’s a little video Mommy took of me banging my head on the couch.

Today Mommy made me something I could shake. We wrapped a paper towel roll in construction paper, tore up some crepe paper and stuck it in one side of the roll. It took less than five minutes to make and I ran around the house shaking it and playing with it. Mommy tried to teach me to say shake shake shake and I tried really hard and started saying sh sh sh. The count down has begun, I only have two days left as an only child and I plan on enjoying every minute of having Mommy and Daddy to myself. Oma and Opa are bringing Georgie home on Friday. I did talk to her on the phone today and I think she misses me.

Me and my shaker

Today when Mommy was vacuuming I took advantage of the opportunity with her head being turned and sneaked into the bathroom. I sat down on Georgie’s potty seat and started pulling all the toilet paper off the roll. I’m getting tall enough now that I can open the doors, Mommy is not impressed. I love the bathroom and try and get in there every chance I get. I like to flush the potty and pull the toilet paper off the roll.

Busted!!

Mommy made this cute little frog for me today; it was one of the projects in the My Giant Busy Box. I loved the frog when he was talking to me. I loved it even more after we were finished with it and Mommy gave it to me. I ripped his eyes, arms and legs off! Mommy glued them back on and put him up for Georgie when she comes home.

Mommy glued crepe paper to popsicle sticks today and I ran around the house shaking them. They made noise and I could feel the air from them swirling all around me. I played with them for about 15 minutes before I decided they would be more fun to tear apart. Mommy said we’ll make more in the spring on a windy day and take them outside to watch them move with the wind.

Who knew a popsicle stick and crepe paper would be so much fun

I have been a very good boy this week and today I was punished for it! I went along with the flow and didn’t complain but I was getting tired of my head being messed with. This morning Mommy took me to the mall and made me wear the hood on my jacket. I couldn’t get it off and struggled and fought with it until I fell asleep in the car. I managed to get about ten minutes sleep and mean Mommy woke me up. We walked around the mall and then she took me to get my hair cut. The lady that cut my hair was really nice but I wanted to see what she was doing when she was using the clippers so I kept turning my head to look. When we finished getting my hair cut I got to play on the playground at the mall! I was flirting with a really cute girl, she was a bit older then me but I didn’t care.

After we got home Mommy pulled out the summer clothes to make sure the ones she bought last year were going to fit. She put a hat on me and I struggled with it until I finally managed to get it off my head. I do not like things on my head, I do not want to wear hats! I was told that I have to start wearing hats before summer starts or I won’t be allowed to ride in the Jeep. There is still a few months until top down weather starts so I have some time to think about it.

Does the hat come off this way?

Maybe if I pull this way it’ll come off

The one thing that keeps me from getting cranky on our long trips is my travel tray. Mommy can put food on it for me to snack on and its a great place to keep my bear so I don’t drop it. The tray has a soft padded edge around it that keeps me from knocking things off. My bear is very important to me, I’ve been sleeping with it since I was a little baby and I can’t sleep without it. Daddy said its really special and came all the way from Australia. The travel tray that Georgie and I both have is really soft so it is safe for the car and it has pockets to keep stuff in. Georgie’s used to have crayons in it until she decided to color on the car instead of the paper.

We got ours from Family Travel Gear, they have lots of great things for traveling with kids.
