Mommy has been trying to teach me how to trace but I haven’t been very interested in it until today. We took a Ziploc bag, Mommy drew the letter “A” on it and we filled it with yellow and blue finger paint. I spent a lot of time tracing the letter with my finger. When I traced it I mixed the paint together and turned it from yellow and blue to green. I liked tracing and liked making the colors change. After I traced the letter I would pat the paint flat and trace it all over again. We talked about the letter “a” and words that started with it. I learned the word aardvark today, its a silly word and I laugh when I say it.
Ethan’s going to be left handed just like me. I like to color with Ethan until he starts dropping the crayons in the hole in the table.

Mommy bought me these really great mess free books that I use a paint brush and water to paint on. The pages have different color stripes and dots on them and when I paint them with water they blend together to make lots of colors. Mommy loves them because she can trust me and not have to stand over me making sure I don’t paint the walls. I can’t get in trouble with these books; the worst I can do is spill my water and Mommy doesn’t mind if that happens since its easy to clean up. I spent over an hour painting yesterday and have been asking all morning to paint again.

Pebbly Beach is one of the best places in Australia to get up close to friendly kangaroo’s in the wild. It’s four hours South of Sydney and a really pretty drive. There are lots of kangaroos that live on Pebbly Beach and they will come right up to you and let you pet them. There are also lots of pretty birds called Rosella’s that will steal your food if you’re having a picnic and will fly up and sit right on your head!

We made these really fun little bags this morning and I’ve been singing Jungle Bells all day. I crumpled up tissue paper and put it in a ziploc bag, when I was done Mommy threw some bells in, zipped it up and taped it close with packing tape. We made Boo one too. After we finished the bags Ethan and I ran around the house shaking them, singing and throwing them. It was quick and easy to do and Mommy loved it because it kept us out of trouble while she cleaned.

Since the days started getting longer I have been upset that I never get to see the moon. I look for it every time I go outside but its not coming up until after I go to bed. We made my very own moon for me to hang in my room so I can see it everyday. Mommy traced a plate on wax paper and cut it out. I crumbled it up into a little ball and then straightened it back out. Mommy and I glued it on a piece of black construction and then I stuck some of my star stickers in the sky. Now I have my very own moon I can look at every night.

Since I tried feeding Missy play food and gave her toys to play with mommy and I made a fish that I can take care of. I crumpled up some scrap paper and put it in a paper bag. Mommy wrapped a fuzzy stix around the bag to close it and make the tail. I used a sponge and painted the fish. When the fish dried Mommy helped me glue on a googly eye.

I think Missy gets bored swimming around that little bowl all on her own so I decided to give her some toys to play with. I also gave her some food in case she was hungry. I took things from my play kitchen and put them in her bowl when Mommy was changing Boo’s diaper. Mommy thought it was funny, she just cleaned the bowl so she was happy I didn’t try and feed Missy animal crackers again.
Will Mommy ever learn? I have a bathroom off my bedroom and Mommy cleaned it yesterday. After she cleaned it she forgot to lock the door. When Mommy put me down for a nap I went in the bathroom, took a role of toilet paper from under the sink and unrolled the entire roll. I had fun and Boo liked watching. He was laughing and screaming at me from his crib and I was running all around the room and laughing. Mommy could hear us, I think she was happy we were wearing each other out so we would take a long nap. Daddy got us up from our nap and he thought it was funny, probably because Mommy would be the one to clean it up. I don’t think she cared too much, she was probably just happy that I didn’t pour shampoo on the bed again. Do parents ever learn?
