Mommy let me do the Small Talk Six from MomDot and I got to pick what animals I would want as a pet. It was so hard because there are so many silly animals! Mommy helped me and we narrowed down my long list to six. We’ve been learning about Australia so most the animals I could think of were Australian. I got to help Mommy find the pictures and we talked about the different sizes and colors of the animals and where they live. Koala’s live in trees!

This was first time I was nice to my baby brother. Unfortunately Mommy managed to catch it on camera so there is proof that I can be nice to him.

What a busy day! Today I got to spend the day at Play Care and I had so much fun! I got to sing, dance and spend time away from Ethan! I’m in the big kids room now so I get to play with all the big kids toys. Ethan is still in the room with all the little kids. Today was our first day in the new place and I think Mommy was really happy that we enjoyed it as much as we did. Its really close to home and Daddy’s work and they have a drop off service so if something comes up and Mommy needs someone to watch us she doesn’t have to call around and find a babysitter, she can just drop us off. When we got home I stole Mommy’s sun glasses and ran around the house making her chase me to get them back.
We started a new game today and it was fun! We glued some of our scrap paper to paper bags, mommy set them up and then I had to choose a bean bag and knock over the bag with the same color rectangle on it. Ethan was my personal cheer squad, he screamed and clapped every time I knocked a bag down. I was really good at it and wasn’t missing any of them by the time we finished.

I love the beach! I got really excited today when Mommy pulled out the dolphin foamies and started telling me all about Monkey Mia. There are lots of bottle nose dolphins that come up close to shore and they really like people. If you are lucky one of the Rangers will even let you feed them!

Today we made a quick stop at the Pinnacles in Western Australia. The Pinnacles are limestone formations that are in Nambung National Park. They are really pretty to look at. They would have been prettier if our printer hadn’t started running out of ink when we were printing it.

A trip in the Northern Territory would not be complete without making some Aboriginal Dot Art. Mommy bought a foamie art kit that had turtles, geckos and fish in it. We stuck the foamie dots on to make dot art. We looked at some aboriginal dot art online and talked about how all the paintings have special meanings. We have some pretty Aboriginal paintings in our home that Mommy and Daddy brought over with them from Australia.

The winner of the Crayola Art Duffle is Jennifer Garrido ! I just realized this was sitting in drafts and we forgot to post it.

Our second stop on my world tour is Yellow Waters which is in Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory of Australia. Today we went on a boat trip so we could go out and spot crocodiles. Yellow Waters Billabong is full of water lilies and lots of pretty birds.

Hi, my name is Georgie and I’m addicted to foamies. Each morning when Mommy pulls out our craft bag I start screaming “foamies foamies” at the top of my lungs and don’t want to play with anything else. Mommy tried to get me to paint today but I told her “no Mommy no paint want my foamies please”. I got my way and we played with foamies but she tricked me and made me learn. We used a sheet of foam paper and stuck some fish on then put on some air bubbles coming from each fish. I like counting the air bubbles; I’m good at counting.
