Mommy dragged Boo and I to all sorts of boring places today and I didn’t like it one bit. I made sure that Mommy knew I didn’t like it! We had to go to the County Assessors Office, The Department of Revenue and more boring places. I didn’t even get french fries! We came home, had lunch then went down for a nap. Mommy PROMISED we would do something fun tomorrow. Boo and I did have some fun in our jumping castle this afternoon. I put all our stuffed animals in it and turned it on its side. We played in there with our stuffed animals.

I’ve watched Mommy trace plates and other things for projects we do and I’ve started tracing them as well. I got a plate, cup, fork and some play food and were tracing them on my paper. When I got bored of tracing I started coloring my plate when Mommy was trying to teach Ethan new words. He doesn’t talk much but that’s probably because I talk enough for both of us. Tracing was simple and fun; I’m learning how to control my hands more and its really helping with my writing.

Mommy has been working with me on tracing the letters of the alphabet for the past week. I surprised her when I was coloring and wrote a big letter D. I was so excited I yelled at Mommy to look at my letter D. I figured that had to be worth a sticker! I got a sticker but I did some more coloring on it before she could grab the camera and get a good picture. Mommy was so proud of me, we’ve worked so much on tracing and learning to write the letters of the alphabet and she was really happy to see all that work paying off.

Mommy drew rectangles on a sheet of construction paper and wrote the numbers 1-6 on one side and left the other side blank. I had to show mommy that I could recognize my numbers. I would tell Mommy what a number was and then I would use my do-a-dot and put the number of dots on the right hand side that matched the number on the left. I did a great job and got a sticker!

I learned how to connect the dots today. Mommy stuck some sticky dots on a piece of construction paper and I used a marker to draw lines and connect them. I’m getting really good at tracing and drawing lines.

I can count to 30, count my fingers and toes and anything you ask me to count. I’m learning how to write my numbers now. Mommy traced 3 umbrellas on a piece of construction paper and drew a big number 3. I colored the umbrellas, decorated them with ribbon, dots and a ladybug then practiced tracing the number 3. Mommy held my hand, helped me trace it the first time and then I did it all by myself a few times. I was really proud of myself; I like learning new things.

We are starting our trip around the world again. Today I got to learn about the Great Barrier Reef. We watched videos on YouTube of coral, fish, sharks and turtles. I like to watch the fish swim around. The reef has about 1,500 types of fish; that’s a lot higher than I can count! There are also lots of snails, clams, starfish, shrimp, sponges and sharks. I’ve been to the Great Barrier Reef but it was when I was still in Mommy’s tummy. I put fish foamies on the picture of the reef while Mommy told me about it.

Here’s on of the video’s we watched that I really liked.
