I don’t quite have the concept of tag down yet but I love running and screaming. We sometimes play tag at the end of dance class and I’m teaching Ethan how to play it my way. I just run around being silly and screaming tag at the top of my lungs. My favorite place to play tag is in the house running circles through the office, entry and dining room. We love it when Mommy and Daddy play with us, they trick us though and hide in the laundry room and jump out when we run by.

Here’s us playing tag, if you look close you can see some of Ethan’s paper on the floor from his snipping.

This is how I spent most of my day, I won’t tell you what I did to get there so frequently, it was just one of those days.

One of my favorite things to do is cut up paper. Mommy gives me a pair of safety scissors and I’ll sit on the floor with a piece of paper and spend a long time cutting it into little pieces.I concentrate real hard and say snip every time I make a cut. Its good for my coordination skills. The only problem is I like cutting the paper into tiny little pieces for Mommy to clean up, the things she lets me do so I’ll be quiet for half an hour.

The seeds I planted are getting really big! I’ve been watching them real close every day and watching them grow. It only took two days for us to have some little sprouts and they are growing very quickly. Mommy used this to teach me how plants grow and now that we have sprouts I’m learning the different parts of the plants. Mommy said when the weather gets better we’ll move them outside and plant them in the garden bed her and Opa built. I like helping Mommy in the garden and I’m looking forward to eating veggies from our garden.

I like helping Mommy around the house but I don’t like picking up my toys. We had a great tent in our living room that had a toy box inside. I loved to play in it and had so much fun with it. When I’m told to pick up my toys I refuse, throw tantrums and stomp off to my room. I’m normally good but I really don’t like to clean up my toys.

Mommy threatened that if I didn’t pick up my toys that she would bag them up and throw them out. I didn’t believe her but Friday she did it! Not only did she throw out the toys, she took away the toy box and the tent! All we have left is our Rody Horse, Ethan’s train and car table, the Handy Manny tool box and the giraffe bike.

The joke is on Mommy and Daddy, we really don’t miss a lot of the toys but I do want my play tent back.

My Opa is coming this weekend to help build a fence for our veggie garden. We got the house with lots of land so we can grow our own veggies in the summer. Yesterday we got our seeds started so they’ll be ready to plant when the garden is done. I of course was a huge help. It was raining outside so we planted them on our kitchen floor and made a huge mess. I took handfuls of dirt from the bag and put them in the containers; once that was done mommy helped me plant all the seeds. Eventually we’re going to have carrots, spinach, onions, tomatoes, watermelon, zucchini, some herbs and lots more.

This is me even though you can’t tell with all the hair in my face.

I’m getting big so I have to do chores now, lucky for Mommy I enjoy it! When I get up in the morning I have to make my bed. After breakfast, lunch and dinner I have to put my dishes in the sink. I help Mommy with the other beds, put the silverware away when we empty the dishwasher and help dust and clean windows. My absolute favorite chore is laundry! I get to put the piles of clothes in the washing machine and turn it on. When the clothes are done I move them to the dryer, put a dryer sheet in and then turn the dryer on. I help put it away by hanging shirts on hangers and I am learning how to fold and put my clothes away. Just because I’m three doesn’t mean I can’t help. The one chore that I argue about and sometimes try and fake injuries to get out of is picking up my toys, I don’t like to do that at all.

The weather has been really nice this week and we’ve been spending a lot of time out in the Jeep. We love the Jeep and complain every time Mommy and Daddy try to make us go somewhere in the Yukon, its just not as fun! Today we were sitting at a traffic light and for some reason I decided it would be fun to throw my sunglasses out the window. I yelled “Uh oh, get glasses”! The light turned green and since we only had Mommy out with us she couldn’t get out of the car to get my glasses. I love my sunglasses and started screaming when we started to drive away. Thankfully Mommy turned the corner and went into the parking lot of the gas station, hopped out and went to see if she could get them. I had thrown them far enough out that a car didn’t run over them so Mommy scooped them up and brought them back to the car. She was mean though and wouldn’t give them to me. All that screaming tired me out and I decided that I needed a nap. I’m sure Mommy was not happy about that so it made me happy.

Mommy was listing some of our old stuff on Craigslist and she found this really great pool and got it for us. We can’t fill it with water yet because Mommy has to power wash it and move it to the play area. We are so excited about it! I can’t wait to go down the slide when its full of water.

I draw a lot and since Mommy doesn’t like clutter we can’t keep everything that I draw. We get to keep a lot of the special crafts that we make and the stuff mommy refers to as milestones. I’ve started writing letters a lot and I’ve started drawing animals. Mommy and Daddy must be getting smarter because I no longer have to tell them what my drawings are. I never understood how they could be so wrong! Here are two of my most recent drawings, a bird and a monster.

I got this really great art storage case that has a picture of me on it! When we do special crafts or a really impressive drawing mommy writes a date on it and files it away in my case. When we have rainy days I can take my case out and look at all the pretty pictures I’ve done. Its sturdy enough to take a beating from me and it has lots of room for my artwork.
