Since the days started getting longer I have been upset that I never get to see the moon. I look for it every time I go outside but its not coming up until after I go to bed. We made my very own moon for me to hang in my room so I can see it everyday. Mommy traced a plate on wax paper and cut it out. I crumbled it up into a little ball and then straightened it back out. Mommy and I glued it on a piece of black construction and then I stuck some of my star stickers in the sky. Now I have my very own moon I can look at every night.

That’s a really good way to make a moon! I’ll have to remember that one.
What little boy (and girl) would love that. That is a great project.
Thanks for linking and I am glad I found your blog.
We are going to have an outerspace theme week soon, and this would be a great project! But was it really wax paper? It shows up so well on the black paper, I thought it was aluminum foil!
Wow! I love crafts that involve the beautiful sky!
