Helicopter Ride

Earlier this year Mommy and Daddy took me on a trip to Branson. When we were eating lunch I was watching helicopters take off across the road and I said I wanted to go up in one. By the time we finished lunch the clouds had come in too low so I didn’t get to go. Mommy said that if I still wanted to I could come back and go on one for my birthday. I talked about it almost every day for seven months! In September Mommy and Daddy brought me back for my birthday helicopter ride. I was such a big girl, I got to sit up front with the pilot! When we landed I wanted to go again and again. Helicopters are a lot of fun, I was reading letters off of signs to the pilot and thought the cars looked like little toys.

Camping out

Saturday night is family night, we watch a movie and get to camp out downstairs in the living room with Mommy and Daddy. We get to sleep in our sleeping bags on the floor. We love camping out and want to do it every night. It doesn’t matter how far apart we start out I always end up snuggled up to Georgie.

My First Recital

My first dance recital was last week. I loved getting ready for it. Mommy put my hair in hot rollers and I got to wear makeup! I loved my dress until we got to the recital; there were girls there with tutu’s and I love tutu’s and wanted their costume, not mine. I did get over it eventually but when we left I was still saying “I love tutu’s”. I did a good job on stage and I had a lot of fun. We danced to the Chipettes singing Single Ladies.

Watering the Garden

I have a new job as Mommy’s gardening helper. I water the flowers while Mommy does the weeding. She has to be careful, occasionally I like to be silly and splash mommy with the water hose. I am so proud of myself when I am done with the watering. I normally wouldn’t help mommy but when it comes to being outside and playing with a water hose how could I say no?

Maddie No!

Maddie is getting big really fast. We spend a lot of time saying “Maddie no” and Maddie down”. She listens sometimes but not enough. We’ve learned that when she is out of her crate nothing is safe from her. Yesterday she grabbed my Micky Mouse blanket and tried dragging it outside through her doggie door. We like having Maddie in the house, she gets in to more trouble than Georgie and I!

Little Miss Bossy

I am the girl formally known as Georgie, right now I’m called Little Miss Bossy. I spend my days bossing around my little brother. This morning I was telling him how to eat his breakfast, he didn’t like that and started yelling at me. I got mad at him but Mommy took his side and said that she’d get mad too if I bossed her around like that.

I like things done my way and only my way, what’s so wrong with that? I tell Ethan what toys he can play with and how to play with them, I tell him what to do and what room of the house he should be in. My favorite show is Max and Ruby and Mommy blames Ruby for teaching me how to be bossy. I love Max and Ruby, I think Ruby is great, she is bossy just like me!

Playing Dress Up

I love to play dress up, I have my favorite princess dress that I put on everyday and twirl around in.

Ethan gets jealous so yesterday I took it off and helped him put it on. It was so funny, he kept saying “I pretty” and twirling in circles. Mommy thought it was funny, Daddy told Ethan that boys aren’t meant to wear dresses and Ethan said “I pretty” again.

Mommy got the camera and took pictures, she said she’ll be showing them to all his girlfriends when he gets older and will have it blown up really big for his 18th birthday.

Case of the stolen banana

Someone in this house keeps stealing banana’s in the middle of the night. Either our new puppy is half monkey, mommy and daddy are sleep walking or Georgie is getting up in the middle of the night and getting food. It’s not me, I have a gate at my door and I don’t weigh enough to open it. I have my suspicions about Georgie, she has been getting up in the mornings smelling like banana’s and mommy found a banana peel in her room. I’m no detective but it seems to me that all signs are pointing to her being the guilty one. I love getting her in trouble.

Since Mommy took all the toys away we’ve actually been having more fun and are being more creative. Today I took a toilet paper roll and used it as a telescope so I could see things better and played my version of I spy. I say I spy and then tell everyone what I see. Why does anyone want to guess when I can just tell them? Ethan played too and I helped him with some of the words that he didn’t know. I like to help him, he doesn’t like it so much and it usually ends with Mommy telling me that trying to control him isn’t nice. I personally don’t see anything wrong with it so I have no idea what all the fuss is about. Doesn’t really matter, I do what I want anyway!
