Mommy drew rectangles on a sheet of construction paper and wrote the numbers 1-6 on one side and left the other side blank. I had to show mommy that I could recognize my numbers. I would tell Mommy what a number was and then I would use my do-a-dot and put the number of dots on the right hand side that matched the number on the left. I did a great job and got a sticker!

I learned how to connect the dots today. Mommy stuck some sticky dots on a piece of construction paper and I used a marker to draw lines and connect them. I’m getting really good at tracing and drawing lines.

I can count to 30, count my fingers and toes and anything you ask me to count. I’m learning how to write my numbers now. Mommy traced 3 umbrellas on a piece of construction paper and drew a big number 3. I colored the umbrellas, decorated them with ribbon, dots and a ladybug then practiced tracing the number 3. Mommy held my hand, helped me trace it the first time and then I did it all by myself a few times. I was really proud of myself; I like learning new things.

We are starting our trip around the world again. Today I got to learn about the Great Barrier Reef. We watched videos on YouTube of coral, fish, sharks and turtles. I like to watch the fish swim around. The reef has about 1,500 types of fish; that’s a lot higher than I can count! There are also lots of snails, clams, starfish, shrimp, sponges and sharks. I’ve been to the Great Barrier Reef but it was when I was still in Mommy’s tummy. I put fish foamies on the picture of the reef while Mommy told me about it.

Here’s on of the video’s we watched that I really liked.

Climb and Slide Castle
Little Tikes has a special on the Climb and Slide Castle until 05/13/09; they have it on sale $15 off.

Boo and I have one that we play on every day. It’s sturdy enough to hold both of us and its lots of fun! Boo likes to crawl into the middle of it with his apple slices to hide from me so I don’t take them from him. We chase each other around the it and practice taking turns on the slide. We played with it indoors during the winter but now that the weather is getting nice we’ll be able to play with it outside. It was really easy to assemble, just make sure you read the instructions before you put the slide on.

I give this slide five stars. We’ve had ours for almost two months and it still gets hours of play time every day.

Mommy says we have too much craft stuff and we have to start using some of it up. I got to do two crafts from my Giant Busy Box. I made a lamb while singing Mary Had a Little Lamb and I made a pizza with stickers and gave it to Daddy as a present when he got home from work. Mommy loves the busy box because it has all the crafts put together and its great for days when we don’t have a lot of time to do crafts.

I know how to play hide and seek; we played it at daycare. Today I taught Mommy and Boo how to play. The first few times I counted and Mommy and Boo would hide and I would go find them. Boo is not a good hider, he would be too noisy and give away where he and Mommy were hiding. When it was Mommy and Ethan’s turn to count I hid under my toy bucket that I had dumped out earlier. Mommy went up front to look for me and Boo came to the playroom. He found me! Not only did he find me he climbed on top of the bucket and sat there. I started saying “Boo move, Mommy help”. What did she do, take time to get the camera! I laughed because it was funny and now that’s the only place that I want to hide.
